Am Ende jedoch kommt es zur großen Versöhnung und dank einer klugen Idee von Hase gibt es reichlich Wasser für alle. Temporeich erzählt der tansanische Künstler John Kilaka diese Geschichte über Solidarität und Zusammenhalt. In seinen Malereien kostet er Farbenpracht und Formenreichtum der Tingatinga-Malerei genussvoll aus. Ein wahrer Augenschmaus!

EN: The voracious crocodile lurks in the river and does not want to share, although the animals are all thirsty. It demands an offering to satisfy its hunger. In the end, however, there is a great reconciliation, and thanks to a clever idea by Rabbit, there is plenty of water for everyone. The Tanzanian artist John Kilaka quickly tells this story of solidarity and cohesion. In his paintings he enjoys the colourfulness and richness of the form of Tingatinga painting.
